Therapy. Leah received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from William Paterson University in New Jersey, and she received her doctorate at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Leah is nationally certified and holds state certification in both California and Ohio. Leah has a wide variety of therapy experience ranging from early childhood into later adulthood. She also has experience with specialized population such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and AAC users. Her area of expertise is in the domain of ambiguous language learning and its impact on both academic and social communication. Specifically, she has in depth knowledge regarding social communication and the impact of sarcasm on language learning and use in the middle school years.
