Leah is the founder and owner of Unless. Therapy. Leah received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from William Paterson University in New Jersey, and she received her doctorate at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Leah is nationally certified and holds state certification in both California and Ohio. 

Leah has a wide variety of therapy experience ranging from early childhood into early adulthood. She also has experience with specialized population such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and ASD.

Her area of expertise is in the domain of ambiguous language learning and its impact on both academic and social communication. Specifically, she has in depth knowledge regarding social communication and the impact of sarcasm on language learning and use in the middle school years.

She also has speciality training in the use of a wide variety of AACs- including eye gaze devices. She is PECS and PROMPT trained.

Leah has a deep passion for advocating for clients and for teaching them to become advocates for themselves. She also thoroughly enjoys the use of sidewalk chalk, is decent at double-dutch and loves the most ridiculous jokes.
